Supporting Association

Herrenhaus Edenkoben has been in existence as a residence for artists since 1987. The Land Rheinland-Pfalz ran it for ten years, and since 1997 it has been run by a private initiative. It was the non-profit-making Trägerverein Herrenhaus Edenkoben e.V. that opened the estate as a residence for artists, and is also responsible for the allocation of scholarships. It consists of a small circle of members, who also look after sponsors to finance the scholarships and workshops, and who manage the means. The jury that selects the scholarship holders is assigned to the Supporting Association. The jurors’ commitment to the Herrenhaus is purely honorary.
