Each term three artists live and work at the same time in Herrenhaus Edenkoben for five months

They are selected by an international jury

As a rule, six scholarships are allocated to candidates from the field of composition, literature and fine arts. Thus since 1997 more than 60 scholarships have been awarded. They are not publicly advertised. The jurors have the privilege to propose the scholarship holders. The scholarship comprises free living in a fully furnished two-room flat and free use of the studio. The financial support at the moment comes to € 900 per month. In addition to this, the scholarship holders are given the opportunity to present themselves and the outcome of their creative work to the public in concerts, exhibitions and readings.
